Hi! Here is a nice, simple recipe to try and it tastes great!
Preparation time: 15mins
Cook time: 10 mins
Makes: roughly 30
Ingredients:
150g Salted butter (softened)
80g Light brown muscovado sugar
80g Granulated sugar
2tsp Vanilla extract
1 Large egg
225g Plain flour
1/2tsp Baking powder
1/4tsp Salt
200g Chocolate chips
Method:
1. Heat the oven to 190C fan/ 170C/ gas 5 and line two trays with baking paper.
2. Put the butter, the muscovado sugar and the granulated sugar into a bowl and beat until creamy.
3. Beat in the vanilla extract and the egg.
4. Sift the plain flour, the baking powder and salt into the bowl and mix.
5. Add the choc chips and stir well.
6. Use a teaspoon to make small scoops of the mixture, spacing them apart on the baking trays.
7. Bake for 8-10 mins until they are light brown on the edges and still slightly soft in the middle if you press them.
8. Leave to cool for about 10 mins and enjoy!
